Supplier intelligence
A buyer's structured, current view of every supplier: the products they make, the certifications they hold, the risks they carry, and the evidence they have already provided.
Supplier intelligence is the buyer-side view of the supply base: which suppliers make which products, what certifications they hold, where they operate, what risks they carry and what evidence they have already provided. It is what a procurement, sustainability or compliance team relies on to make sourcing decisions, manage risk and answer regulatory questions.
The current state
Most supplier intelligence today is fragmented across portals, spreadsheets, email threads and bilateral integrations. Buyers spend more time reconciling versions than acting on what the data tells them.
How a supply chain data network changes this
When suppliers maintain their data on the network, supplier intelligence becomes a query rather than a quarterly project. The buyer’s BI tools, ERP and AI agents query the network directly. Every supplier connection compounds the picture, and the data the buyer relies on is the same data the supplier maintains for every other customer.
